Nursery

The Safe Harbor Nursery is a clean, fun and safe place for our youngest children. It is staffed by church volunteers who have undergone a thorough, independent background check according to our church denomination’s childcare policy. (See details below.)
We offer nursery care for six (6) months to age four (4) during the Sunday worship service in 1 or 2 rooms, splitting the age groups and care depending on the number of children and the needs of the group.
IMPORTANT: We have a safe sign-in and cell phone procedure to keep our helpers connected to our parents. Please make sure to have your phone on and with you during the service.
SCHEDULE
Each week we read a story from The Gospel Story Bible by Jared Kennedy. Here is the typical schedule we follow:
Play | Prayer | Snack | Bible story | Craft, Singing or Activity | Play | Parent Pick up
The first Sunday of each month is Family Sunday where the children join in worship on the altar for the last song. Please pickup your child in the sanctuary during this time on all first Sundays.

NOTE TO VOLUNTEERS: If you are over 18, you must complete a Background Check that includes an online training video in order to volunteer with children in our church building. Contact the church office to complete your background check and training.
