Nursery

Our nursery (for ages 6 months to 4 years) at Safe Harbor is a clean, fun and safe place for our youngest children. It is staffed by volunteers in our church who have undergone a thorough, independent background check according to our church denomination’s childcare policy. 

We offer nursery care for six (6) months to age four (4) during the Sunday worship service in 1 or 2 rooms, splitting the age groups and care depending on the number of children and the needs of the group.

We have a safe sign-in and cell phone procedure to keep our helpers connected to our parents. Please make sure to have your phone on you during the service.

Each week we read a story from The Gospel Story Bible by Jared Kennedy.

 The first Sunday of each month is Family Sunday where the children join in worship on the altar for the last song. Please pickup your child in the sanctuary during this time on the first Sundays.

NOTE TO VOLUNTEERS: If you are over 18, you must complete a Background Check that includes an online training video in order to volunteer among children in our church building. Please contact a member of the nursery team with any questions you have about volunteering in the nursery. Contact the church office to complete your background check and training.
