Our goal is to make Sunday an encouraging time where kids look forward to hearing God's Word and learning about Jesus.

Our Children's Ministry works to accomplish this by:

Encouraging growth, giving and service
Teaching nice Words, grace and compassion
Emphasizing Jesus first
Offering an opportunity to share God's love
Demonstrating youth and adults in honor based relationships
Lifting up praise to our Lord through prayer
Being in touch with the current generation
Building faith and Spirit filled role models
Enriching lives with the truth of the Gospel

Ways Children Can Use Their Gifts

Greeters/Celebration Leader: Friendly, enjoys talking and laughing with the kids, finds opportunities to affirm and encourage them. Greet each child who comes in with a smile, positive words and stickers. Announces birthdays and introduces new visitors.
Music team: Leads the children in praise through songs.
Bible Leaders: Creatively reaches the children with a Bible story, memory verse and opens the Bible time with prayer (10 minutes).
Prayer team: Prays for the children's ministry.
Decorations: Make visual aids for Bible Time, theme related decor, create song posters.
Take Home Material Helpers: Produce weekly supplements to reinforce the lesson and songs. Could include but not limited to song CDs, lesson worksheets, coloring papes and craft/snack ideas.
Set up and clean up: Prepare the room for the children and/or secure supplies at the end of the service for the following week.
