Vacation Bible School is one of
the best outreach programs for young children in the community. There is always something for everyone no matter the age, and it is always a lot of fun for everyone that is involved; whether the child, the young helper or the teacher, it is a week everyone remembers. To have the privilege to work with a young child in their walk with Christ in a way that could change their lives forever is a privilege.
Safe Harbor offers a week of daytime VBS during the summer for kids from age 4 up through 5th grade. There is a nursery available for children of the staff as well as a 2 and 3 year old class also available for children of the staff. We all have God given gifts and every gift you have is something that we can use during our VBS week. If you feel lead to be part of this ministry, be it prayer to sending items in or by helping coordinate the children to being a teacher, please contact Mary Jo or Marianne.
